今朝、バスに盲導犬連れたおじさんが乗ってきた。
盲導犬の実物を初めて見たので「やっぱり賢そうだなあ」と思って見てたら、
おじさんの近くに座ってた小さい姉妹の会話が聞こえた。

妹「わんわんだ！ねーたん、わんわんだよ！」
姉「あやちゃん、大きい声で喋ったら駄目だよ。
あとね、あのわんわんはお仕事するわんわんなんだよ。
今はお仕事中だから、遊べないんだよ」
妹「おしごとしてるの？」
姉「お目め見えない人を、ぶつかったり危ない事無いようにお外に連れて行くお仕事をするわんわんなんだよ。
お仕事の邪魔したらいけないから、可愛いけど触ったりしちゃいけないよ」
妹「あのおじちゃん、おめめみえないの？」(心配そう)
姉「そうよ。でも、あのわんわんがいるから、危なくないようにお外に行けるんだよ。
あのわんわんがおじちゃんのお目めなんだよ。
あやちゃん、お目め触られたら痛い痛いでしょ？お目め目隠しされたら困るよね」
妹「うん」
姉「だから、あのわんわんは触ったり邪魔したらいけないの。おじさんのお目めだからね」
妹「わかった。あのわんわんはおめめなんだね。すごいねー」

この姉妹と盲導犬連れたおじさんの近くにいた人達、全員ニコニコしてた。私も口元緩んだ。
盲導犬連れたおじさんもニコニコ。
お姉ちゃんは小学校低学年くらいだったけど、
幼児の妹にわかりやすいようにゆっくり説明してて感心した。
